Best Sushi Restaurants in Palos Hills

Sushi-San was an unexpected treat! The menu isn’t huge, but the quality of rolls, apps, and other dishes is really great. I had one of the best bites of my year here, as did my husband.

The atmosphere / vibe / ambiance was definitely a 10 out 10. The service was incredible as well. But let’s talk about the sushi itself. While the quality of every fish we had was excellent, I wasn’t too crazy about the fish to rice ratio. IYKYK. I definitely thought the amount / cut of fish could have been a little more generous for the overall price I paid. I also thought it was interesting that they ended the omakase with a nigiri as opposed to a light dessert. But that’s just me. While my friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time, we probably won’t be coming back for a second time.

Outstanding dinner: house salad, truffled tuna, fish/chips, 8 piece nigiri sushi entree, hamachi and otero nigiri sushi, Dragon roll and shrimp tempura roll, matcha dessert. Excellent service. Good value because of 30% off Monday!

We had a wonderful time, but at the end of the meal we had difficulty signing into our QR code Lettuce Eats account to get our points. I don't think we ever were able to figure it out (my husband had to try even though it was his birthday and I didn't want him to have to deal with the bill.)
