Best Tapas Restaurants in Exeter

We had an amazing experience at Circe! The vibe from the moment we walked in was so welcoming and fun! The decor is classy and beautiful. The bar area and tables - both downstairs and up - is chic and well appointed. Loved the music. There was a DJ playing after 10pm which made the vibe even more fun. Would absolutely come back! Valet also a great experience. For a narrow street, it was easy to access both upon arriving and leaving. Love the holiday decor!

The restaurant was amazing. My only small complaint is it was very loud so if you’re on a date and want quite not so great. Other than that it was amazing. Taylor as a waitress was fantastic! Thank you for an amazing evening. The arroz con pollo was the best!

it was quite busy, however we were able to get a table easily using OpenTable . Our waitress was very friendly and was able to speed our order through so that we made it in time for the concert. The Caesar salad was perfect as was the mac & cheese dish! I think the drink was called the sucker punch something fruity. Very tasty with bourbon. Highly recommend checking out the bar selections of specialty drinks. .

Overall experience was great, staff was awesome, food was excellent - though the sirloin was fatty it was still tasty. The braised short ribs are by far the best dish on the menu! The only thing is I wish that room with all the windows wasn’t absolutely frigid, which seems to be anytime we sit there. Just ask to sit in the other dining room if you’re not a person that likes the cold.

The downstairs experience is like a total Boston speakeasy vibe!! The lighting, booths, and just all around vibe was the perfect mix. The food was above expectations and the martini was *chefs kiss! Perfect for girls night, date night, or just a nice meal.
