- CCherieVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •8 reviews5.0Dined todayLocus Wines is a true little diamond in the rough of Pioneer Square. Set on the bricks of histoiric Occidental Square, it is a perfect spot for a glass (or two) of amazing wine and lite bites after work, before a game, or while you are visiting the newly revitalized area. The food was delicious and beautifully presented - salumi meats, fresh from France cheeses (from a local cheese monger), and a mezze platter with housemade dips. We also had some of the savory filo pastries with lamb - outstanding And then to the wine - Locus should be on every oenophiles list. Time only allowed for a couple of bottles for our group but Locus Red blend was a perfect full bodied accompaniment to the bites. And not only do they have a very popular wine club, but the retail store where the wine bar is located is also well stocked with a marvelous selection of wines (that will entice you to try them all! ) The venue's location is great - and there is also perfect little place for a small group - they have a wonderful private room in the back that worked out beautifully. I understand they also often have live music and other events in the space And lastly, the service! Keenaan, the Tasting Room Manager, took amazing care of our group and the others in the venue like we were guests in his home - warm greetings, pouring wine, making all the food, and managing the place all with a smile makes this a not to miss stop in Pioneer Square! It's nice to see Pioneer Square coming back to life after the difficult patch these last few years - I can't wait for patio season when we can raise a glass of magnificent wine and toast the beauty of Seattle summers again! - MMarcelaSan Francisco Bay Area •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had an amazing experience at Mari Pili and will definitely be back! We enjoyed some delicious cocktails, including the Sangria which was delicious. We then dined on a series of small bites. Since this is a tapas bar, all of the portions are small to medium which makes it easy to try lots of different things. The dishes that stood out the most to me were the croquettes with ham and cheese, the scallops (they were very instagramable, served on cute half shells), and the arroz meloso, though everything was incredible. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the price point was reasonable. We cannot wait to go back!More infoMariPili Tapas BarPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Capitol Hill / First Hill•4.7

My wife and I shared several small plates which were appropriately timed so that each arrived fresh. The service was excellent t and I 100% recommend the Cuban old-fashioned.More infoTapas AngelPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Pioneer Square•5

- LLLuLuDVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •3 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 9, 2025We used to eat at the Cupertino location often, so this was a nice comfort meal. Plenty of meat and sides. I enjoyed that it didn't get too smoky while we grilled our meat; they changed grills three times. The hostess was rude and clearly not happy to be working, but it didn't detract from our meal. The rest of the staff kind and helpful. Overall, a great spot with plenty of easy parking.More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Bellevue, WA | Mountvue PlacePrice: Expensive• Japanese• Bellevue•4.5
