Best Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurants in Cary

We have been to Irregardless at least 500 times - starting in the early 90's. Our most recent dinner was certainly one of the best we have had there. Their current menu is heavily vegetarian, which works great for us as my wife is a vegetarian. The beef bourguignon was simply fantastic for me. And best of all, the salad with the lemon tahini dressing has been unchanged since we first had it 30 years ago. We haven't been going as much lately as parking is a bit tricky, but I think we will be back more often again.

The food was outstanding! We had 4 apps and one entree. The brussels sprouts, cauliflower, salmon, and crab appetizers were unbelievably good. My son got the lamb entrée which was fantastic! Can't wait to go there again sometime soon!

First off, the gauchos/passadores were top notch! They all made sure we did not have an empty plate. They def get their steps in keeping the wide variety of delicious meats rotating around the dining room. Other wait staff also checked on us frequently to ensure we had all we needed. My wife enjoyed the variety of the salad bar as she only eats a small portion of meat. The food, the service, and politeness and efficiency of the staff were great. The only thing not so desirable was the packed in closeness of the tables. So tight even the gauchos had a hard time navigating the dining room, and trips to the salad bar could turn messy if one was not careful of seated patrons. Still, definitely a 9 out of 10 experience. Will def go again.

Loved it. Greeted at door with excellent hospitality. Smelled delicious and it was! The server was excellent. The food and drinks were great. They were out of a few things but it was Christmas Day and they were busy! Excellent experience and we will be back.

Had lunch after the NC Museum of Art. Great beer selection and appetizers. Not too hot on the spices (we don't like the hotness to take away from the overall flavor). Shrimp with the Korma sauce was excellent and the Naan was just slightly crispy. All in all, an excellent meal.
