From the moment you walk into the New Delhi Restaurant, you feel like you've come home to a welcoming family, and dinner is on the stove waiting to be served. Ranjan is the warmest, sweetest buddha of a man that you may ever meet. His stories, laughter, kindness, and FOOD are wonderful. This is authentic, rich, complex, and delicious Indian food. It is worth a long drive to eat this food. And if Ranjan is in the house, he'll undoubtedly have a story to tell you about what you're eating. Ranjan has owned many restaurants around the world and has distilled all of that experience into this restaurant in San Francisco. But you don't have to go to the restaurant to enjoy it, they will also cater your events. I wholeheartedly recommend New Delhi Restaurant! Great food, great experience, fun set of dishes, and novelties.

This was the kind of eating experience that was so good that with each bite all we wanted to do is take another another one. The mushroom soup that came with our meals was a symphony of flavors! We both ate 100% of everything we ordered. When we finished, there was only one thing to do, order desert! Thank you for such a delicious, lovely dining experience.
