- MMicheleVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoIt’s been a few years since we dined here, so was curious to see if the food was still as good as we remember. It was!! The menu had enough to choose from, but there were still daily specials offered. Chose one of them—the Halibut—and wasn’t disappointed. The local Sauvignon Gris was a nice match and the desert martinis were delicious pared with the local graham cracker crust ice cream garnished with a Snickerdoodle. Cozy Christmas decor adds to the charm of this chic rustic establishment. Don’t miss it!More infoTuscarora MillPrice: Expensive• American• Leesburg•4.8
- KKyleVIPWashington, D.C. Area •8 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024Another terrific experience at TFK! Samantha was my server today and did an absolutely stellar job. Not only was she extremely attentive despite her entire section being full, but she was also spot-on with refills and other requests. I could not have asked for better service! I know I can always count on excellent, high-quality food and service whenever dining at TFK. As a foodie, this is crucial for both myself and any guests I may bring along with me. Thank you TFK team!More infoTrue Food Kitchen - FairfaxPrice: Moderate• American• Fairfax•4.6
- JJoanWashington, D.C. Area •17 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024Yesterday evening we celebrated my daughter's 38th birthday at Elizabeth's- and now all of us are ready to go back tonight. The minute you walk in the door of Elizabeth's you feel as if you have been welcomed into a cosy and elegant historical home. We were greeted warmly by Elizabeth and the staff, all of whom are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and culinarily multi-talented. And the dinner experience is similar to being served a new piece of artwork with each course. Would I ever be able to replicate the Klamath Return, a kombu-marinated chioggia beet, caraway crisp and celery root, or the Cleopatra's Ambrosia, with sea buckthorn, pink banana sorbet and kinome leaf, or the Velvet Immortal with the saffron pickled enoki mushroom? Not in my wildest dreams. My family normally inhales their food, but this time conversation was at a minimum as we took time to appreciate each new amazing taste sensation. Our party consisted of one vegan, one vegetarian , and two omnivores, and all of us agreed Elizabeth's is the best restaurant in DC.More infoElizabeth'sPrice: Very Expensive• Vegan• Downtown•4.9
- AAllynVirginia •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 17, 2024Whether one is vegan or not, the food was amazingly delicious and creative. After a few minutes at our table, my wife and I could tell that this restaurant was intelligently well run. We ordered their 4 course tasting menu to let them surprise us with their creativity….and they did. 👍More infoMitaPrice: Very Expensive• Latin American• Washington•4.9
