- VVickyVIPPittsburgh / Western PA •172 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe atmosphere is lively and fun. The food was delicious! You order using a CR code and a server brings it to your table, which is not my favorite way of dining, but the order was correct and the servers were very good. The wine list is extensive, but we ordered draft beers, which were very good. We ordered a garlic-tomato-shrimp appetizer, brussels sprouts, broccolini, and the Chilean sea bass and risotto special. It all arrived at once, so next time we would probably space out our order to have it come in stages. Each food item was exceptionally good, all appropriately hot temperature and very flavorful. The brussels sprouts were a favorite; really crispy and excellent. Would definitely come back.More infoThe PA MarketPrice: Moderate• Cocktail Bar• Downtown•4.7
- BBrianna1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoRight when you walk in everyone is very friendly! We got seated within 5 minutes of our reservation. We went on Valentine’s Day, so they were very busy but managed it very well. The waitress we had was very polite and friendly. She told us about the highlights of the menu and her personal favorites. It was a nice experience to hear the popular recommendations! All 3 courses that we ordered came out in a timely fashion and were absolutely delicious! The lobster crab cake appetizer was definitely amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly and was so tender! The crème brûlée was so light but cooked at just the right temperature and time! Overall, we were very pleased with this restaurant and will most definitely be back very soon!More infoThe Capital Grille - PittsburghPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.8
- KKristinVIPPittsburgh / Western PA •51 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFirst let me start by saying we have had consistently good experiences at this restaurant. David provided excellent service for Valentine’s Dinner. The cocktail that was chocolate and strawberry flavored should be kept on the regular menu! I had short ribs and my husband had seafood risotto and both were top notch! I ordered bread pudding and my husband had the tiramisu and once again top notch! I have one complaint around the buffalo mozzarella caprese…not sure it was Buffalo cheese as the texture on Buffalo is spongier but the most important issue was the 5 small baby tomatoes that were overripe. A good caprese has a solid slice of tomato to match the mozzarella slice. Also, a balsamic drizzle adds the final perfect touch and that was missing too. I definitely would not order that again. It was almost the perfect dinner!More infoVallozzi's PittsburghPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.6
- DDavidNew York City •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSpectacular as usual! From the greens and beans and the shrimp bisque soup we had as an appetizer to my wife’s scallops and Chef Pino’s Bolognese – the best anywhere! And this dessert! Jennifer and family are incredible hosts. One of our favorites for sure. More infoPino's Contemporary Italian Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Point Breeze•4.9
- RReaganPittsburgh / Western PA •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoDelicious food- everything on the menu is worth ordering at least once. Beautiful, classy ambience and kind, attentive staff. This restaurant could make anyone fall in love with pasta. By far my family’s favorite place in the city. We recommend the fusilli & the Caesar salad; both are perfectly-executed modern twists on classic Italian dishes (like everything on the menu). Wonderful experience all around every time we go here. Cannot recommend Alta Via enough— it’s worth all the hype and prices.More infoAlta Via - Market SquarePrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.5
