- JJeanVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •35 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe went for a belated Valentine’s Day celebration and they still had their Valentine’s Day pre-fix menu, so we ordered that plus a few extra appetizers and drinks. The overall experience was fantastic — from the ambience of the dining room to the food and drinks, and the wonderful service! Appetizers: - Seared scallops with beetroot risotto - the scallops were delicious but a tiny bit tough to the bite. The red risotto was on point, especially the color for Valentine’s Day. - Maitake mushrooms - deep fried to perfection. If I didn’t know they were mushrooms, I would have thought this dish tasted like fried oysters from the famous Clam Box in Ipswich, MA. - jumbo cocktail shrimp - the shrimp was indeed jumbo; there were five whole pieces of shrimp Mains: - surf and turf - large lobster (delicious!) and prime bone-in ribeye (upgrade, totally worth it, so tender and well-cooked!) - side of asparagus - large pieces, boiled. - side of truffle mashed potatoes (upgrade) - portion isn’t large for the price, but it was delicious! Dessert was the pre-fix menu dessert - chocolate tarte with alcohol-infused blueberry. The blueberry was very interesting and unique. Drinks - the suggested drink pairing (berry bliss?) was fantastic!More infoFleming's Steakhouse - Santa ClaraPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Santa Clara•4.6
- MMayaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •29 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 26, 2025We were there at opening time and staff was 10 mins late, and they did not apologize or say anything! Instead, they looked unhappy at working and being there - quite an unpleasant start. However the wine and later service was good and the appetizers were fun!More infoSavvy Cellar WinesPrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Mountain View•4.6
- OTOpenTable DinerSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined on Jul 21, 2024We were there on a night with street music on Murphy so more crowded than usual and maybe a bit understaffed. They created additional seating for us outside which was great. Food was ok and the menu was eclectic but sufficient to offer many choices with a large wine and beer selection. They looked to have a full bar inside but only served wine and beer which was fine for us. Service was a little slow but there were a couple of large parties that took up time. Overall we were happy with our experience.More infoVino Vino - SunnyvalePrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Sunnyvale•4.1
