Delhi Dhaba was established in July of 1991 by a local Arlingtonian family that emigrated from New Delhi to the United States in the 70’s. Their vision was to bring the colors, flavors, and riches of a traditional Indian Dhaba to the locals in the metropolitan area. Traditionally, a Dhaba is a roadside restaurant or cafe found on highways and on the outskirts of cities, towns, and villages. Dhabas were initially started by enterprising Punjabi’s to cater to the needs of truckers, for wholesome, clean, and hot authentic Punjabi food at any hour of the day or night.
Over the years Delhi Dhaba has become one the most well known and respected Indian restaurants in Arlington. The family continues to push the envelope of new ideas everyday while staying true to their culture and values.

This was a fantastic place for a group. Restaurant was very accommodating when we needed to change our reservation from 6 to 7 diners.
Fantastic quality. The restaurant was new to some of the guests and they had a great experience.

The brunch was not impressive, it's all u can order appetizers not entries. I offer to pay for additional entry but the staff refused. They are not in business to sell I guess. Left hungry...

Really great bottomless brunch option because you don’t really find this at Indian restaurants in the DMV area. Food was amazing and the portions were good. Also you can’t beat $3 mimosas/bellinis!

Upon our arrival at the restaurant, I was filled with eager anticipation. Our party was the sole guests present. Despite the visible presence of 8 to 9 staff members, it took an hour and 15 minutes before we were attended to. When we inquired about the delay, we were informed that a catering event was causing the slow service. Even after requesting more bread, we were informed that none could be made. My hopes for the restaurant were dashed. I have no intention of revisiting.

Took for girlfriends to expose them to Indian food and they had an amazing time! Sam and Rakesh were so accommodating and helped us enjoy the food with all the additional knowledge and exposure from street food to fine dining.
from the gol gappay carts to the lassi flights, street food entrees and many bread options and exceptional desserts and to wrap it up- a good cup of masala chai with desserts. Everything was great! I almost forgot to mention the decor - the outdoor decoration is perfect for summer. We will be back!!

What an amazing experience! We will be back for sure. The Gol Kappi (Pani Puri) cart was delicious and such a a cute presentation and the perfect starter. The samosas were crisp and flavorful, as were the pakora (and not too greasy) and also these came out on a cute little bicycle just like the ones you see in Dehli in the street selling fresh snacks. The jackfruit curry was a vegetarian's dream. My friends enjoyed the chicken tiffin set.
