Featuring local "farm to table" cuisine using a breadth of farmers in the Missouri and Illinois communities. When asked to define of The Crossing, Owner/Executive Chef Jim Fiala often says that he is a chef that buys locally whenever possible and cooks as any French and/or Italian chef would given the ingredients sourced. Joining Jim is Chef Thu Rein Oo who brings passion and years of experience to the kitchen. Our food is fresh, organic (whenever possible), seasonal and by design very simple. The Crossing stays true to classic techniques and the chefs love showing off their skills and passion for elegant food.

Servers have superb knowledge of the menu offerings and are able to excellent guide diners. Excellent accommodations for gluten allergy.

The food is always fantastic...my favorite at lunch is the salmon salad with avocado and mango. A delicious combination. We were lucky enough to be served by Jason, who is friendly, energetic and a perfect waiter.

Lovely dinner at Del Pietro’s. Delicious Caesar salad, seafood pasta and tiramisu at very reasonable prices. My server Jack was just outstanding. So sad that they will be closing at the end of the year.

Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

The 'house salad - Baby Greens', or whatever it's called was drenched in way too much 'oil' which curtailed the taste of the salad. The kitchen staff tasked with salad prep at BSG-Creve Coeur needs to be retrained on proper prep when adding any dressing to an ordered salad. One might say there was enough oil in our served salad to drain into a glass and lubricate a car's engine. Now, do you get the message that "way too much oil was poured over the salad?" An old saying goes: "a word to the wise should be sufficient."

Acero made for a perfect anniversary dinner for a couple from out of town. They offered us complimentary sparkling wine and even had our menus printed with a congratulations. Everything was fantastic but the egg raviolo is not to be missed. Our waiter Simon made it a wonderful experience.

We had a lovely evening. The food & service were excellent. However, the music was a little loud. As more diners arrived, they needed to raise their voices in order to have conversation. That was annoying but something easy to rectify.
