Our restaurant and wine bar has been serving authentic Italian cuisine in the City of Fairfax for over twenty years. It all starts with our unique brick oven, one of the first wood-fired ovens in NOVA, and our fresh pastas made in-house every day. The scents of garlic, tomatoes, and herbs follow you through the restaurant as you see the hand-painted murals covering our walls. These personal touches provide a cozy setting that takes you away to Italy and is perfect for any occasion. Our menu has a range of dishes, from traditional Italian offerings to unique personal selections. We are dedicated to using fresh ingredients from our own garden and sourced from other local farms. Dolce Vita always strives to be on the forefront of being creative and offering excellent food and service. The server was friendly and attentive. The food was great! We sat near the front door so there was a lot of traffic coming and going. I would sit in the back room if given an option next time we go in.

Dolce Vita has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. Tonight was the first time I was disappointed. The trout and polenta was very salty and dry. My husbands rib eye was salty and he rarely finds food too salty. I had to ask for refills on water. This was the first time I have been disappointed here.

Everything we ate was amazing. The fried mozzarella and the arancini were so delicious and a great way to start off the meal. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the chicken had such amazing flavor. Service was fast and impeccable. The restaurant had a very comfortable and homey Italian feel, and it was very reasonably priced. 10/10, will be dining again.

Service was challenged. It was over 20 minutes before we even got water. We had to get up and go to the bar and I think the manager came and gave us water and started service. 30 min after we arrived the waitress showed up with water. Food was delicious. Wine overpriced. Dinner for four was $320 .

Great restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Service was understandably a bit slow to start, but settled down nicely and we had a great meal. Super nice reception staff. Great drinks!

A wonderfully busy ambiance. From appetizers to desserts and espresso, food was delicious, though I do regret not getting a pizza! I appreciated the waitress taking the time to joke around with the family as well!

The food was okay, but the waitress was rude and lacked manners. She messed up our bill twice and never bothered to apologize. There were many fruit flies, and one even flew into one of our drinks. It was gross!

Menu has a great variety, something for everyone. My only warning is to make time to navigate the tiny chaotic parking lot; it was a nightmare. Very tight combined with steady pizza take out traffic it is not for the faint of heart.

Great evening! Restaurant knew we were celebrating an anniversary and made the night special for us. Our meals were fabulous, wine selections were good and the recommendations made by the wait staff was spot-on. Glad we came and we'll be back.
