   We dined as a party of 4, with our teens. The baked swordfish and furikake ahi tuna were just okay, we've definitely had better and paid less for it. The tuna quality was poor, it had a tough membrane that was difficult to chew. Drinks seemed watered down. Our daughter enjoyed the fresh catch mac nut crusted mahi mahi and our son really liked the coconut shrimp. We all felt the portion sizes were small, except for the amazing twist hula pie! Would return, but only for dessert!!

   The restaurant seemed dated and needs a really good cleaning and makeover. The salad bar is minimalist at best. A lot of the condiments at the salad bar we’re missing and not replaced in a timely manner. More choices needed for the price. The carrots that came with my main course were undercooked but the fish tasted fresh.

   Or server was the best. He saw that my primerib cut was mostly fat and corrected the price without asking. He gave great recommendations and those referrals were perfect.

   Beautiful ocean view. Consistently high quality in food and service. We have dined here at least once on every visit for the past twenty five years and Dukes never disappoints. It is our favorite restaurant here on Kauai.

   Food was excellent. Service outstanding. Price not out of line. Add on salad bar for $7 was a great deal. Beautiful restaurant. Wish we would’ve went during daylight to see the view of the water.

   We always enjoy visiting Duke’s Kauai. The location and view are perfect. The food and service are always amazing and Duke’s just makes our time in Hawaii all the more special.

   Duke’s has been a favorite any time we are in Kauai. The prime rib was excellent! Our server was knowledgeable and patient with wine selections. Ending with hula pie is always a plus. An excellent evening!
