Eagle's Nest at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis offers a truly unique dining experience with "unmatched views" of the city skyline from its rotating restaurant. Guests rave about the "outstanding service," particularly from staff like Renee and Burim, and the "delicious food," including prime rib and seafood dishes. Ideal for special occasions, the "spectacular ambiance" and attentive staff create a memorable atmosphere. If you’re looking for one of the better restaurant experiences then this one of the best. As far as food it was just good. They have talented cooks that seem to lack confidence in some areas. I say this because they cooked my fillet mignon to a perfect medium rare but they felt the need to cut into my wife’s pork chop to check the temperature. The seasoning was lacking but a very good truffle demi on the pork chop. Overall just slightly better than average food that isn’t worth the cost. At least for their valentines menu. Certain items stood out (the dessert was fantastic!!!!) and could be worth their price but others lacked any notable qualities. For example the seafood chowder was very nice but the Peter Lugar bacon was just okay. Cooked well but nothing special and the sauce they served was odd. Tasted like it should’ve went with a shrimp cocktail. Perhaps their normal menu provides better value but not too impressed. Much better food at a better value elsewhere in Indianapolis. With that being said the atmosphere and the experience adds a lot of value. Further more that staff was lovely. I want to point out the elevator attendant. She was a breathe of fresh air and she was so excited for us to experience our special day with them. Although the service seemed a little slow. Not horribly but noticeable.

The aesthetic is amazing. The views of the city and rotating around in the sky is nice. However, my second experience wasn’t that great. It was Valentine’s Day and they had a special menu. It would have been nice to know that menu was mandatory for everyone but, for what you were able to get was reasonably priced. The seafood chowder was amazing! My spouse ordered a filet mignon well done.. The steak arrived half well done and the other half medium rare. The waiter only offered to “cook it more” at the end of the night. A discount or taken off the check would have been greatly appreciated. The manager in the grey jacket was so nice. I really should have spoken to her about the undercooked steak. Overall, it was a nice atmosphere but, very pricey. If you’re looking for an a restaurant with an amazing view, once in a blue moon date night out.. Eagle’s Nest is it.

Honestly was our first time my wife been asking me for years to take her here but I am a hungry beast so I love going to places where I could enjoy the food and be satisfy which is something friends or other people I have came across has always said the food is bad the food has no taste it's just for the experience of the restaurant spinning and the city view. They where right the food was expensive and horrible burnt filet mignon,,,she ordered roasted chicken it was undercooked no grill marks no crust from the skin just plain white boil looking meat just bill was 300.00 and parking was 25.00 and the only thing was amazing was our waiter Mya thank you for your hospitality hoping they don't make you split the force gratitude tip they put on the bill...

This is definitely an experience. The view is what you’re paying for. Went for VDay. Server was incredibly nice but we sat at the table for 20mins before even being approached by the water girl. A couple across from us left because they waited so long. Food was lackluster for the price. Dessert was good. I’m glad we went, but I don’t see myself going back.
