Restaurant is steeped in tradition and care for the community. Restaurateur Brandon E. Chrostowski offers a unique experience with seasonal, classic French cuisine in the midst of Cleveland's Shaker Square.

The restaurant has a unique mission; to eat well and do good. Founded in 2007, the mission of EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute is to instill leadership skills in formerly incarcerated men and women through an education in the culinary arts.

Our aim is to change the face of re-entry through food and hospitality.

My guests and I were extremely pleased with our dining experience. From beginning to end everything was top shelf quality service- the greeter opening the door, the gentleman at the desk ,our server was very polished and knowledgeable about the meal courses for the evening , the pairing of the wines chosen for each course definitely matched perfectly. The decorum was inviting and warm, the table setting very nice and the fireplace was lit which made it a nice and warm evening.

Edwins has been a favorite since the first time we dined here in 2017. The menu reads, "Eat well. Do good." And that perfectly describes the food, service, and the food community work done at Edwins. Tonight's restaurant week menu was superb: the soup/salad, chicken and salmon entrees and wonderful desserts made for a fine dining experience. Stellar wine list, too. Edwins is always on our list whenever we are in Cleveland.

We were greeted warmly when we first arrived at Edwin’s Restaurant. Our server was very engaging & helpful. The food was superb & beautifully presented & I asked about the wonderful creamy sauce served with our salmon & was given the specific ingredients by the restaurant owner, Brandon Chrostowski, who came over to our table to chat with us, which we appreciated. The restaurant was nice & quiet for our early dining time. It was a lovely evening.

My husband surprised me with reservations at this restaurant after seeing the owner on the news some time ago. We were extremely impressed with the story behind the restaurant and his mission, and the entire experience from the moment we walked in the door to the goodbye when we finished our decadent dessert, did not disappoint. The atmosphere, ambiance, service, and food were exceptional. The menu and cocktails choices were a perfect variety, with flavors we couldn’t stop talking about. We will definitely be going back again! 11/10 experience!

The service was prompt, the food met our expectations. The somelier was helpful on the accompanying wine flight chosen by my wife. Founder/Chef Chrostowski visited most of the patrons near the end of our meal. What he has done is very admirable.

We attended for restaurant week. The server was very inexperienced, but that is to be expected at this venue. Our grouper was outstanding and the base of green beans was done perfectly. The one negative was the buffalo trace manhatten...awful. None of this would prevent us for returning for another special occasion.
