Steaks were raw, which I usually don’t mind but they were full of gristle and very hard to cut and chew, combined with being waaaaaaaaay too big for normal humans to eat, just felt like a giant hunk of raw meat on a plate with no sauce. The rack of lamb was actually quite nice despite no sauce or gravy. Calamari entree was very average, Caesar salad was very good. Probably should have been some guidance from the wait staff as to how much food to order, the amount of food on our table could have fed an entire village for a week. Looks and feels like an awesome restaurant, just got let down on the night - I’d imagine being Christmas its always difficult to get enough staff. Would def go back but on a quieter night and just order for two people and share between 4.

Amazing steak and starters. Christmas prix fixe menu packs a punch with huge portions and good value. Impressive wine collection. Love the ambiance and service as well.

My group were 7 adults and a 4 yr old celebrating our traditional family Christmas Eve dinner. The staff were gracious. They were accommodating to my request that we be seated in main dining room and very attentive to the 4yr child order of her favorite crispy Calamari which is not gummy. We all agreed. She was served first! The steaks were delicious and juicy. The Branzino is cooked to perfection as well as the Grilled Octopus and the Shrimp Scampi. The side dishes of spinach, steak fries and mushrooms are so tasty. The Lobster Bisque soup is to die for. All of us agreed this the best dinner experience at Empire Steak House. Most importantly, we have the choice to order either Pre Fixed or Ala carte. Price is right!

We went to Empire for the first time. Our waiter was awesome. Very attentive. The only odd thing was that we had to eat upstairs in the Burger area. The downstairs was closed for an event. Outside of that, food, wine and service was great.

We were seated at a half-circle booth across from the kitchen and basically ignored for the two+hours it took to dine. After 40 minutes, we had to ask a gruff and grouchy manager to bring our cocktails and bread. When he wasn’t busy with us, he was busy loudly reprimanding servers right in front of us. We felt badly, but after another 35 minutes we had to ask him for our appetizers , as our waiter was nowhere to be found. Same with the entrees. The lamb chops were well seasoned, but tough. The bone-in filet was wonderful. The baked potato was undercooked and stone cold.(they heated it up) . Our 2014 St.Emillion was thin and not very good at all. The manager, in a somewhat snooty tone of voice, said loudly, So, you just didn’t like it, a rather accusatory way of dealing with it. He did take it off of the bill. No one wants to pay super premium prices for a meal and be ignored completely, no apologies offered. It was a Saturday night at 8 pm and servers were literally running into the kitchen to keep up with their excessive number of tables. Not a pleasant dinner experience at all.
