   Prix fixe consisted of 2 spring rolls and main course of lamb shoulder that looked mashed up into dog food. Dessert was 3 chocolate truffles

   We had the sablefish and it was cooked perfectly. The vegetable share plates were great. Service was lovely and staff were super friendly. This is my 5th or 6th visit and it's for good reason!

   great quaint ambience room that left you feeling welcome and relaxed. Fantastic food with great wine selection that compliments the menu. Sevice was fabulous with warm friendly attitude with a touch of humour in the interaction with the guests. Highly recommend the restaurant for great food at a fabulous price point for a Michelin Bib nomination without the pretentious attitude. Great for small gatherings of friend or family.

   At an absolutely stellar experience at Fable. As a vegetarian, the squash steak was one of the best veg entrees I've had in a very long time. Deliciously flavoured and interesting (unlike the pasta marinara or risotto that many places seem to resort to as their obligatory veg option). You could tell thought had gone into it. And props to the bartender who took care of us when we were unsure about the options. Our server Olga was fabulous. We had such a good time with her; she put the "cherry on the top" of our wonderful evening. I was dining with my mother and she agreed that it was the best food she had in a long time and was already making plans to return. Thank you, Fable!

   Fish and bison were cold. Expect more when ordering a $70 dollar steak. Not acceptable.

   We had the tasting menu. The braised lamb was outstanding. It would have been nice though to have something alongside it - a vegetable or something. We tried to order bread to soak up the delicious jus - the had sold out of their focaccia. They''d also sold out of the wine we wanted to order a bottle of. The starter of duck spring roll roll was good but not memorable. Nice ambience, quite busy and noidy especially for a Tuesday night

   Food was good, but not what we expected (expected great). Burger was a bit overcooked. Omelette was awesome and Benny had good flavor and presentation. Potato rosti was the best part. Intimate and cozy environment!

   Ordered Fable breakfast with a choice of sausage. The sausage was great but small. A bit disappointed that scrambled eggs couldn't be replaced by egg white only. Sourdough is good and deep fried potatoes are really crunchy. Overall it is good but nothing that special!
