We created a new MODERN CHIC vibe...The new name "Frankie's Since 1988" as an ode to our original restaurant on the Southside of Chicago. No longer a fine dining white tablecloth restaurant. Our new concept more energetic music, vibrant craft cocktails & mocktails along with the same homemade pastas and signature dishes, such as Ciambotta (sausage & peppers), meatballs, Chicken "limone" with a lemon butter & capers sauce amongst others that have been loved throughout the years from Frankie's.     We had a late Valentine’s Day celebration combined with our wedding anniversary. I selected Thassos as our place of celebration, and oh how we felt like royalty! The food- just incredible. The service- best you’ll find in Chicago. The drinks? - better than those I’ve had at restaurants in New York or Denver. Such a romantic setting for our special day and I can’t thank Thassos enough for the beautiful memories we have created there.. Do yourself a favor and make a reservtaion, because this place has always been packed when I’ve been here and it’s no surprise! I can’t stop thinking about that Shrimp appetizer with red sauce and feta!! Out of this world!!

    Even though it was a busy Valentines Day, our service was excellent, this includes the busboys. We eat here often but this was the first time I ordered pork chops and I wasn’t disappointed. The two big chops were very tender and served in a flavorful sauce with red/green peppers and sliced potatoes. I’m looking forward to eating the other chop for dinner tonight. My husband ordered a pizza which are the best in Chicagoland in my opinion. The sweet sauce gets me every time.
