Nino's, opened in 1968, has been owned and operated by Antonio Noviello since 1982. Originally from the Amalfi Coast of southern Italy, Antonio worked in Monte Carlo, then Bermuda where he met his wife Helen, an Atlanta resident. After moving to Atlanta in 1981, Antonio's life-long dream of owning his own restaurant became a reality when he purchased Nino's. For more than forty-one years, Antonio has taken pride in serving authentic Italian Cuisine made with fresh, imported ingredients and cooked to order for each guest. In 2006 Antonio's middle daughter Alessandra became the manager and has since taken over with her husband Micah. Alessandra and Micah take pride in keeping the long-standing traditions and reputation of serving exceptional Italian cuisine alive. Nino's has attracted devoted locals who return time and again, along with a long list of who had heard of Nino's reputation and stopped in to sample the fare. Many of the dishes on Nino's menu are original recipes brought from Italy by Antonio and his brother Giuseppe. Antonio's favorite dishes are those named after his daughters, Gabriella, Alessandra, and Michela; his wife Elena (Helen); his brother Giuseppe; his brother-in-law Paola, and himself and the grandchildren. The pasta dish which bears the name of Nino's is a recipe from Mama Noviello.     As we entered the enchanting Christmas atmosphere of the restaurant, we were immediately struck by the spectacular decorations that filled the space with festive cheer. We arrived a bit early—about 20 minutes before our reservation time—but the staff graciously accommodated and offered us a lovely table despite our early arrival. Our reservation was set for nine in the evening, and from the moment we walked in, the staff was amiable and welcoming. Throughout the evening, the service was impeccable; the servers and the manager were always attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond, taking the time to snap photos of us in our festive Christmas hats, adding to the night's joyful spirit. The overall experience was a delightful blend of excellent service and festive cheer. As for the food, I ordered the lamb oso buco, which was delicious—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The calamari appetizer was equally delightful, showcasing the chef's skill in creating exquisite dishes. We also indulged in some special Christmas drinks, each more delicious than the last. Overall, this experience deserves a five-star rating, as the atmosphere and the food quality made for an unforgettable evening.

    We had a fantastic experience! Food was extraordinary and the menu was amazing! So many new and elevated dishes from the last time we were there. Garlic knot is a classic, so good, salads are fresh and delicious and of course pasta is outstanding! Service was great, stuff was knowledgeable and friendly, ambience was lovely, you cannot wish for more on a chill Saturday night. Lovely experience, definitely will be back for more of that delicious food!
