- MMichellevipMelbourne •14 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had an early table at 5:45 upstairs. It’s a great room and we were sitting in the area between the kitchen and the bar which was quite narrow, but the staff were very attentive and watching always for anyone moving in that narrow section the restaurant had an amazing turnover of people. Which I would think was a testament to the good service and the good food lots of families having, a quick meal plus others who were grazing and enjoying the atmosphere. The fit out is really really wonderful. Everything was tiptop from the time we walked into the restaurant to the time we left. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was exemplary. we had oysters, fish and steak. The steak could’ve melted in my mouth like it was covered in butter, the oysters were incredible. The cheese platter was incredible. You know I have to say for a local restaurant. It’s a nine out of 10. We will be back at least 100 times thanks for looking after us Grazie.More infoGrazia RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Glen Iris•4.8
- CAChrisAMelbourne •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHidden down a cute laneway in an old motor garage is one of the very best Italian restaurants in the city ... actually, one of the best places to eat! Their Gnocco (atteptiser) is a fluffy savoury starter that never fails to get my guests to say "oh ... wow". Great sharing food (or don't share) and excellent wines (mostly Italian). Pastas are unique, the mains amazing. I visit regularly. Not cheap but certainly not over the top.More infoTrattoria EmiliaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Melbourne CBD•4.8

- MMarcoMelbourne •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024“I recently dined at Casa Mariotti and it was an unforgettable experience! This family-run gem, straight from Rome to Melbourne, offers authentic Roman cuisine that’s simply to die for. The passion for food is evident in every dish, from the exquisite pastas to the delightful Roman delicacies. The warm, family atmosphere, with every member playing a part, makes you feel like part of the family. Highly recommend for an authentic taste of Rome!” The zucchini carbonara was delicious and also the Roman Supplì al telefono were outstanding. Great wine list and well crafted negroni, the owner is a fantastic host. Grazie mille!More infoCasa MariottiPrice: Expensive• Italian• Richmond•4.7
