Best Authentic Restaurants in Oro Valley

Had an 8 PM, reservation on Valentine’s Day, we arrived about 12 minutes before and were seated by 8. Staff was attentive, food and drink came out quickly. Food was very good. We enjoy our meal and was leaving without feeling rushed at 9:12. Very enjoyable night.

This was our first time at Firebirds and we had a great time! The service was excellent. Very attentive, timely, and thoughtful. There were a lot of people because it was Valentines Day. There was noise, but given that it was a holiday, it was expected. The lights dim about 6:30 pm making it very cozy inside. The food was excellent. We got a lot for our money. Would go back!

We lucked out and got Todd for our waiter. He provided impeccable service, and he even helped me with a wine selection, which was tasty. I had the yellow beet salad and the roast chicken with mashed potatoes. Both were yummy. For dessert, the crème brûlée was the ideal antidote for my sweet tooth. I was completely satiated, but not stuffed. My friend ordered a slice of the chocolate cake, which was HUGE. We had a delightful dining experience.

The food was fantastic. The lasagna and Branzino entrees were delicious. We tried the zucchini appetizer which was also a treat for the tastebuds.

Second time here in a week and we’ve determined that this is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Tucson. Great food and great people!!
