Kachka features an award-winning menu of post-soviet inspired dishes including famous dishes such as the Herring under a fur coat, Rabbit in a clay pot, dumplings and much more. The restaurant is an homage to the dishes our chef/owner grew up eating. Kachka is open for indoor onsite dining. Walk-in lounge and bar seating are also available. Our Lavka grocery is open from 11am-9pm daily with counter service ordering from our Lavka cafe and deli available from 11-3. Seating is first come first serve on our upper patio or indoor lounge tables.     We had the radicchio salad, beef and pork gnocchi and tagliata. The salad was so fresh and delicious, the Caesar style dressing was absolutely to die for and it wasn’t overdressed (which is a usual problem for me). The beef and pork gnocchi was soft and tender, and the ragu was so flavorful. The tagliata was cooked to perfection and the chimichurri was the perfect compliment. I’m really glad I didn’t let the string of poor reviews impact my decision to dine here. Perfect atmosphere, impeccable service and some of the best Italian food I’ve had in a while. Brava Nostrana!

    I’ve dined at kachka more times than I can count and this was among the very best! Food and drink were impeccable. The dumplings and rabbit were superb. Always love herring under a fur coat!! I will be back…many times over.

    We started with drinks next store at Canard and then sat at the Counter in Le Pigeon. We enjoyed watching the food prep. We tried everything: the vegetarian menu, the omnivore menu, the reserve wine pairings and the non-alcoholic pairings. We're always impressed with the wine pairings but were really surprised by how good the non-alcoholic pairings were. The menus come with an additional supplemental dish--definitely get the extra dish. This is our favorite restaurant for celebrations and we had a great dinner!

    We ate dinner here prior to a show at the Schnitzer. The food was good, for the most part, and the drinks were reasonable. The design of the restaurant is nice but there’s a very large column along one side that really cuts off a couple tables from the rest of the room. It’s just a poor seating design in light of that. Overall we were pleased with our meal & experience and will probably come back here. Our server was not attentive and did not seem very engaged in their work but that was just one person, the rest of the staff was professional and service-focused.
