Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. Mythos on a Saturday night was busy with many families. The service people were kept hopping with so many patrons. It felt a bit rushed. My friends and I shared the Pikilia (4 dips) and a grilled cheese appetizer. The greek dips were about average, but the Saganaki was delicious. For entrees,I had the grilled shrimp, my husband had the grilled red snapper and my friend enjoyed the grilled salmon. My large shrimp was well prepared, and nicely seasoned. It was a large portion size too. My friend enjoyed her salmon. It was grilled exactly to her liking. My husband’s red snapper was a bit undersized but delicious. They did a nice job in deboning it. We will return.

Totally blown away! The presentation was like something you would see in New York City at a high-end restaurant. The food itself was incredible. I highly recommend the appetizer, the rum soaked stuffed plantain. Everyone’s main course was a total delight. The service was impeccable. I cannot say enough about this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
