Our server got a little overwhelmed with tables but the rest of the staff did a great job to check in. We ordered the whipped feta/ bread and the olives for an appetizers, and although not a fan of green olives- these weren’t bad! We ordered the tortellini and the bolognese for our main entrees and they did not disappoint. Definitely finish with the Crème Brûlée but I’m excited to try their other desserts as well. Everything was amazing.More infoBistro RomanoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Society Hill•4.9

Food was delicious and reasonably priced and server was lovely. And, as NJ transplants, we appreciated the BYOB.More infoGnocchiPrice: Moderate• Italian• Queen Village•4.8

- Mmelbelle13Philadelphia County •7 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 6, 2024My partner and I went to Scampi on its second night open, and it did not disappoint! Chef Liz and her team were incredible, and I really appreciated the time that she took to explain each course and to get to know the guests. All of the food was fantastic - I think our favorite was the scampi scampi shrimp dish! I will definitely be back again in the future. Congrats on your opening, Liz!More infoScampiPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Queen Village•5
- SSarahPhiladelphia County •153 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 25, 2024Very much enjoyed our Monday-evening dinner with friends. On a Monday evening, it was quieter toward the front, but the back room was energetic. The decorations were festive, perhaps for the holidays, perhaps year-round--we'll have to return to find out! Service was terrific and the food delicious. We shared: - Guacamole de la casa (3 guacamoles: mango, spicy, and regular), each of which were tasty and everyone had a different favorite! - Chips con 3 salsas (red, green, and borracha), each of which were tasty and I couldn't pick a favorite! Two diners had the Quesabirrias tacos and one the Lengua tacos--everyone was pleased with their order. I tried the Carne Asada from the grill and while the sweet plantains were prepared in a drier/crispier style than I prefer, the meat was perfectly seasoned. We shared an order of churros and tres leches cake--the latter was drier than expected, but the 3 churro-lovers thought they were terrific (crispy on the outside, softer on the inside).More infoTamalex Bar & GrillPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Society Hill•4.8
