They started by selling produce to the Greek churches and then to the businesses in Greektown. They opened Apollo Market on Harper Ave in 1968 till 1970. Then they purchased the Golden Fleece on April 7th 1970. They worked ’till the late 2000’s. This was the first time that anyone in our party had ever been to Mazaar. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the live music was a wonderful addition to the ambiance. We will definitely return for a future meal. Thank you very much for an exceptional experience!!

Great experience for a nice Christmas dinner. Friendly staff and excellent service. Buffet food was well presented, flavourful and fresh. There was a nice selection of traditional holiday food with some extra interesting twists. While it wasn't overwhelming large, each item was very well prepared. We loved the bottle of infused water at the table. Of course, with a window seat overlooking the river, the view and ambience was amazing.

Food was great! Service initially was slow took a long time and 2 requests to get chips. She never came back after our meal was finished. Someone else took our dirty plates away and we were never asked about dessert
