Best Authentic Restaurants in Westlake

Fantastic food, best steak I’ve ever eaten! Special was 18z ribeye… and let me tell you, I couldn’t cook a steak like that if I tried! We went for our anniversary and the way we were treated was phenomenal. Diana was our server and she amazing! Highly recommend!

I’ve been to several locations and never had a bad meal or bad service. This is no exception. Please keep in mind that they literally JUST opened less than 2 months ago. Also, a reminder that a restaurant seeming short staffed isn’t a good reason for a bad review, especially if you had great service and your food was made well. The staff is always wonderful, from the host stand to the servers, the kitchen and the management. If you are coming here for a quick 30 minute in and out, go elsewhere and save this for when you have the time to enjoy it. Cooper’s Hawk is intended to be a slow paced experience, where you enjoy each course with plenty of time in between to also enjoy the company you’re with. Almost like a throwback to the time when families would sit around the table to talk for hours - to savor the moments and the flavors of a good meal. Yes, the bar gets backed up. They are also a winery and sometimes people go JUST for the wines/bar. Their cocktails are hand made and not pre-mixed. You can have quality or quickness. I’ll gladly wait on quality. The food has always been phenomenal, with some of my personal favorites being the potstickers and flatbreads for appetizers and then the gnocchi (any of them) and the short ribs for a lunch or dinner entree. Today I got the shrimp scampi and it was perfectly done. Oh, and those donuts at Saturday brunch are for sure worth a cheat day. Make sure you don’t skip on the pretzel bread, and of course the wines (my favorite is the Sparkling Almond or the Cooper’s Hawk Merlot and Cabernet). ☺️

The food came out came out extremely fast and was absolutely delicious. I had the braised short rib ravioli and my friend had the mussels (both 10/10). Will 100% be back!

It was freezing cold next to the chimney because of the draft even though the fire was on, but was otherwise lovely! Great food, service, and ambience, and we loved the Christmas decorations and festive drink menu. The mistletoe martini was DELICIOUS!

My only concern is if you make reservations six hours before your arrival time, your table should be ready when you arrive. But, overall, we had a waitress, who customer service skills were over the top. Rochelle was her name, and she was excellent! And showed the patience of Job with us. And that to me was much appreciated because so many times you go, they are understaffed, trying to do to many tables, and their patience is not very long, but with her, and I believe you were understaffed, she still showed expert courtesy!
