- JJacquelynDallas - Fort Worth •14 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was our first time. From the menu, it was obviously not Tex-Mex but I like Mexican from different regions. I got the Amethyst Fizz. It was ok but I was put off by the chemical after taste. It was also too sweet for me. I love Chile relleno’s. From the description I knew it wasn’t going to be the typical chile relleno. It had a mole type sauce and a creamy sofrito sauce. Both were sweet. Unexpected but not bad. I recommended that they offer a relleno with chicken fajita meat as well as the ground beef. I don’t know if I would order it again as I was interested in other things on the menu. My husband got the chicken fajitas. They were delicious! We both liked the rice and beans too. We both concluded that we would go back. I loved the atmosphere, the tableware, the music, and the sound level. Josie was our server and gave us excellent service.More infoNeon CactusPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Allen•4.6

- DDebbieDallas - Fort Worth •18 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 26, 2024My friend and I both had the Chardonnay flight. We liked the third one best and each ordered a glass, then we ordered a third glass to share. When I got my bill, I saw that each glass was $38! Granted, I probably should have asked how much a glass was but the price should also either be on a wine list or ON THE FLIGHT CARD so customers can make an informed decision. I liked the second wine and would have chosen that for a glass if I'd known I'd have 3 glasses of Chardonnay at $38 each on my bill. Honestly, I've gone to CRU at this location many times over the years. It seems to have lost its vibe (we were actually only one of two tables in the whole restaurant, although there were a couple people on the patio). The music was too loud as well. I would go back but I didn't intend to spend $250 on two flights, three glasses of wine, a meatball appetizer, and a flatbread :(.More infoCRU Food and Wine Bar - AllenPrice: Expensive• American• Allen•4.3
