Best Brunch Restaurants in Avon

Terrific food, great service and a good value. 4 of us went for dinner and had the Calamari and wings for appetizers. Both were delicious and the calamari was light and frankly better than most. Two ordered standard dinners, one being gnocchi and the other the wagyu burger. Both enjoyed their meals saying they were tasty and cooked to perfection. The other two did combination small plate skewers and tacos which is a great option for someone looking to limit carbs and therefore looking beyond most handhelds and large plates with starches. We got the chicken adobe skewers, shrimp tacos and pork tacos. FABULOUS! Would definitely get that again The only slight challenge is some may have challenges finding their perfect entree if the large plates don’t entice and they are not sushi fans.

Excellent food! I recommend the oysters and any of their salads, the NY strip and Brussel sprouts were delicious! I also recommend their dessert wines and their cosmo. Great cocktails! Our waiters were thorough and friendly. Quiet atmosphere in the tavern. Great dining experience.

I would say that Mercato is the best restaurant in Canton. The food was outstanding— my table ordered the charred octopus, Brussels & burrata, salmon entree, NY strip steak entree, and peanut butter brownie. All of these menu items were delicious and I would highly recommend them! The atmosphere is very nice too. I can’t wait to go back.

Christmas Eve, part of 5 with a toddler. This takes extra planning on behalf of the staff. We were seated in a corner, so we could keep our commotion contained! There were options for a high chair or a booster seat…awesome. The waitstaff brought the toddler’s noodles and broccoli quickly! Major win there. The food was delicious (including the toddler’s dinner). Everything was prompt. We did not feel rushed, and we did not disturb the other diners too much because of where we were seated. Thank you for making our Christmas Eve dinner a success.

We love going there. It seems every time we go they have new staff though not cooks or servers but the table servers. They could be a little more assertive.
