- MMichaelVirginia •23 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFood here is delicious, presentation is attractive, decor is cozy, service is friendly and efficient. The menu seemed a bit underwhelming to me at first with relatively few choices that I thought I would like, but everything I tasted was fantastic, so I got some culinary and gustatory education.More infoRiver and Woods RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Comfort Food• Boulder•4.6

- KKarlDenver / Colorado •16 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOverall, it was a fun experience. I would have liked more cooked vegetables and a side of gravy (au jus doesn’t count as gravy). I liked the soft jazz music (2 musicians). And, the service was good.More infoSt Julien HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• Boulder•4.3
- CCorrineDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI've gone to the Boulderado in all it's various forms with my family for Christmas. As a photographer the old architecture and classic features appeal to me (not to mention stained glass and a tall beautiful tree). My breakfast was simple: steel cut oats with fruit and cream. The quality of the ingredients and quantity I received was better than what I make at home. The server was very polite and had a good look for the place. He seemed very overwhelmed by how many tables he had. My family felt impatient with him, but considering how many tables he got slammed with he did great. I didn't give him a five, because he was too busy to fill every last demand we made of him. However, he listened well and got everything correct and efficiently. My mother arrived late, but they let us keep our reservation. My brother was disappointed with his waffles and coffee refills (the only things he cares about at a place). I happily ate the rest for him. We are all middle to lowest class, this is sort of a special thing we do once a year. So my mother and I felt uncomfortable with the snootiness of the other guests, but we are both sensitive creatives so maybe they weren't classists like we felt. Overall I was quite happy with it and felt like I was a bit aggressive in getting the waiter's attention.More infoSpruce Farm & FishPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Boulder•4.3
