The service is always up to par but this time the one chef (older white male) was very Ugh with us as we ordered our steak to go with our omelette which was made to perfection by a sweet young lady. I can’t say the same for the gentleman cooking the steaks. He definitely gave us the bare minimum service while treating everyone else extremely kindly and even showing them the steak to make sure it was to their liking. For us he just picked a steak cut it in half and threw it on our plate without asking if it was okay. Smallest piece of steak ever and did not even taste good or seasoned! I should’ve taken a picture 😅 Judged based off of our appearance because we didn’t say much but can i please have a well done steak and thank you! Hopefully he’s not the chef making the steaks next time we come in. Overall we had a great time, our waiter was absolutely amazing and each station had the most nicest people ever. Food was delicious per usual and we will most certainly be back!More infoChampagne Sunday Brunch at Eden ResortPrice: Expensive• Breakfast• Lancaster•4.5

- GGaryPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe dine at Allenberry frequently and have always been very happy with service and food but Valentine Dinner this year was outstanding. We both had the crab cakes and got it as much for the sides as the the crab cakes. The brussel sprouts and smoked mac and cheese were wonderful and the crab cakes were some of the best I've ever had. Service was excellant as well. Always a great experience and one we will return to often.More infoThe Barn At AllenberryPrice: Expensive• American• Carlisle•4.7
- DDavidVIPPhiladelphia County •59 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024Harvest is one of my favorite restaurants and I am nervous about the proposed changes. The meals were excellent. I started with the Salmon Gravlax, which was prepared in a buttermilk-dill vinaigrette; the pumpernickel crisps were a delightful touch. I then had the prime rib which was one of the best I have ever eaten. Whatever the chef marinated it in was phenomenal. The smoked horseradish whipped potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts nicely balanced it. My brother enjoyed his smoked trout salad and cocoa barbecue ribs. Taylor was our server and she was another highlight as she knew the menu, was professional, courteous, and friendly. She had us laughing and enjoying ourselves. I am hoping that the proposed changes do not diminish Harvest's fine dining experience.More info1933 Restaurant & Tavern at The Hotel HersheyPrice: Expensive• American• Hershey•4.5
