- JJanetVirginia •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAlthough a little more expensive than the average Sunday lunch, the spread provided by Twenty Seven was outstanding with wonderful flavours, unusual accompaniments and generous amounts. The atmosphere was good and the staff were attentive. A great experience which I thoroughly recommend.More infoTwenty Seven by Jamie RogersPrice: Expensive• British• Kingsbridge•4.8

- KKirstenBath/Somerset •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024What a top spot. We went for brunch & took our dog. We were all greeted with such warmth & friendliness. The setting is quirky & interesting, the ambience was laid back & cosy. My scrambled egg was cooked perfectly & my husband’s full English was (in his words) the best he’s had in ages! Great Bloody Mary’s too. We will definitely be returning, next time to try their lunchtime menu, which sounds delicious.More infoschoolhousePrice: Moderate• Italian• Mothecombe•4.7

From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with a warm and genuine welcome that sets the tone for the experience ahead. The hosting is impeccable, striking the perfect balance between attentive service and allowing guests to enjoy their meals at their own pace. Every dish on the menu speaks to the care and thought that goes into sourcing the finest ingredients. The seasonal offerings ensure that every plate is as fresh as it is flavorful, showcasing the best of what Fowlescombe farm and producers have to offer. Whether it’s a classic pub favorite elevated with a modern twist or a more adventurous special, the flavors are consistently impressive. The atmosphere is equally inviting, blending traditional pub charm with a touch of contemporary comfort. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed meal with friends or celebrate a special occasion. It sets a high standard for what a pub experience should be: exceptional food, outstanding service, and an unmistakable sense of hospitality. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality in every sense of the word.More infoMillbrook Inn, South PoolPrice: Expensive• British• Salcombe•4.6
- TTracyDevon •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Service was great and relaxed atmosphere.Quality of food although good, 2 of the lunches were superb fish & chips. Focaccia lunch was just a huge sandwich on a small wooden board which meant food kept falling off onto the table. I personally found it too large for both the board and for my appetite and felt the money was wasted. I would have been more than happy to pay just over half the price for half of the meal. Other clients also were overhead saying they were struggling to eat it. The Caesar salad would have fed out whole table so again was too large and therefore a lot of wastage.More infoGara RockPrice: Very Expensive• British• Salcombe•4.2
