- DDR. ANDIvipWashington, D.C. Area •30 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOh my! I’ve been going to Clyde’s restaurants for decades. They’ve been special in their own ways: very good, mid-priced food, nice decors, and excellent service. This was my first time at Tower Oaks and, as soon as I walked in, I wanted to spend the week! Though that’s not possible, I do think their setting and ‘lodge’ decor are like the most exquisite National Park or luxury lodge I’ve been in. In the same Clyde’s fashion, no detail is spared and the tables are spacious and not at all crowded! Dawn was our server and she was top-notch; including when we wanted mussels but couldn’t eat the spicy preparation on the menu, she volunteered to speak with the kitchen about using the lemon butter on the cod and throwing in some garlic. It was divine! And we complemented it by a market salad with greens, apples, and pears and a white Balsamic dressing. We were seated in a large booth overlooking the forest. As we walked out, I saw a formal dining room with large round tables. I’ll be sure to bring our family group of 6-8 to enjoy what a round table offers. Could not have been happier! Since covid, we’re still not eating out a lot; this was a rare and perfect treat! Kudos!More infoTower Oaks LodgePrice: Moderate• American• Rockville•4.7

Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur server Aaron (spelling? ) was wonderful- attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and cared about each of my elderly father's needs which is not often found in restaurants these days. Food was very yummy, covered a wide variety of diets and preferences, and was warm/quickly served. Only slowdown was at dessert course, but it was at the end of the night right before closing time. We would go back again and again as well as recommend for anyone looking for good food at good price in a lovely atmosphere.More infoFounding Farmers VA: TysonsPrice: Moderate• American• Tysons Corner / McLean•4.5

We were there to celebrate a birthday, the manager was great, He brought out the carrot cake himself for the birthday girl and spoke w/all of us! - FFaithvipWashington, D.C. Area •67 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024This restaurant is consistently very good. This time we tried their cauliflower crust pizza 🍕 . It was crispy with a generous amount of toppings. Dinner started with a side salad. I had the strawberry feta salad with raspberry dressing and my husband had Caesar. Their salads are always made with the freshest ingredients. We were with another couple who had never been. They were very happy too. One ordered off the fall menu Acorn Squash dish which added steak. It looked delicious. I always love how the menu highlights seasonal options. Her husband loved his orange roughy topped with grab. Portion sizes are always very generous. Twin Arches Tabern has become a go to for us and we drive from Hermantiwn because it’s so good!!!!!More infoTwin Arch TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Mount Airy•4.3
