- LLizSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy table loved their dishes but mine was the steak frites which was passable, falling short of preparation and quality. I order it to be medium, but it was cooked to medium well on most of the steak but one side was very rare. I never had such an inconsistent steak like that before. The meat was tough, too. I think I will pass on this dish on my next visit and get the smash burger which looked amazing. The cocktails and deserts were very good, as well.More infoLimewood Bar & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• undefined• Berkeley•4.4
- EErinvipSan Francisco Bay Area •63 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I enjoyed our meals. My wife ordered the carnitas bowl. She noted it was very flavorful a good portion of food. I ordered the carne asada wood fired meal. The steak was just excellent. I enjoyed building my own small burritos with Mexican rice and pinto beans. I also ordered one of the house margaritas. It was good, I like the salt along the rim, but it came in a small glass. I guess I am used to larger glass when I order a margarita, but other than wanting a more ample pour, it was also a good drink. We will be back for the Tomahawk and share that meal. We enjoyed our pretty thanksgiving meal at Rancho Cantina.More infoRancho CantinaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Lafayette•4.7
- JJayvipSan Francisco Bay Area •21 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe almost always eat in Oakland, Berkeley and SF because it's hard to find good food and flavors through the tunnel. Hideout nails it. The lamb shank, the fried chicken, the squash all as good as you get in the City. Delicious. Could still use some work on their craft cocktails, but the food was excellent.More infoThe Hideout KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• Lafayette•4.5
