Best Brunch Restaurants in Pennsylvania

For over 40 years , my wife and I have celebrated our anniversary with good friends who were married 2 days apart from us. Many of the restaurants have come and gone (Deux Cheminee, La Camargue, Coventry Forge Inn, Vickers, etc). Sadly, our friend’s husband is gone, too, and for the last few years we have celebrated as a party of 3. Our table by a window had soft lighting. Service was attentive, but not overly so. The chef was kind to agree to substitute broccoli rabe for artichoke purée as a base for the Day Scallops, and to add anchovies to my awesome Caesar salad. My wife’s branzino was fabulous, as was my Barolo short rib. A caramel crunch brownie shared by 3 was the finishing touch. Savona, a cut above!

We added a person last minute and were originally told that we couldn’t be accommodated but then they pulled through and fit us in!

Met up for a girls brunch and had soooo much fun. We started with a pitcher of mimosas and it didn’t disappoint. From there we ordered a lit bit of everything and shared. The beignets were with berry compote yummy, apple pie French toast, wings, and a traditional breakfast platter. All really good. Our server John was great as we were catching up.

Always a favorite spot with friends or just for a date night. Ezra and his team, from servers to kitchen , provide a very pleasant and tasty dining experience. We have been coming up the SMC for 40 years and believe it has only gotten better with age!

We had the Best waitress- Deja! She was exceptional and made our experience special. We will definitely be back!
