In the hospitality world we talk a lot about “surprise and delight” moments for guests, of varying size depending on the group, occasion, etc, and foreign cinema always gets them JUUUST right. Not to mention the food is always superb

We had an awesome Valentine's Day dinner at Spruce. We travelled to San Francisco for the weekend and this was our first visit to Spruce. We made a great choice. The fixed menu for the evening was great. Everything from start to finish was delicious. We opted for a nice bottle of wine with our dinner. However, the wine pairing menu looked to be great as well. The service was excellent. We will definitely return the next time that we are in the Bay Area.

Causwells does it right. They care, they are informed, they are professional and super fun! The food is outstanding. We always have a great time at Causwells! The drinks are fantastic too!

Laura and Sayat have done something really special here. The attention to detail is evident in every dish, beverage, service and decor. There really is no other restaurant In SF I can compare it to. Bravo!
