This has become our new Christmas Eve tradition! From the moment we walked in, the festive atmosphere was absolutely enchanting, with stunning Christmas decorations that added such a warm, cozy touch. The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish was beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The service was impeccable as well; our server was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find a place that excels in every area, but the Colonial Room at the Drake in Oakbrook truly does. Whether you're here for a holiday gathering or just a special meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Our Christmas Eve lunch was amazing. Juan’s attention and knowledge was on point! We will definitely be coming back to create more memorable memories. Food was delicious and drinks were invigorating. If you are a lover of tequila, mezcal and Spanish flavors this place is a must!

Food was great. Dawn, our server, was fun, friendly, and attentive. She was quick to make suggestions and took care of us at our pace. The place is good looking with a really nice bar as the centerpiece. We walked through the outdoor patio and bar area. Because of the time of year, it wasn’t set up, but looks like it’s a neat spot to hang out on warmer days. The tall ceilings, and hard surfaces, do bounce the noise around some. You definitely have to speak up when the place is full. All said, the food and service were great and the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. We will definitely be back!

Really fun experience- truly feels like private dining. They played festive music and there were two space heaters so was plenty warm. Recommend for a fun winter night out w friends- plus the food was excellent!

The service was very attentive and very friendly from the hostess to the servers to the chefs/cooks. The food was good quality and the champagne flowed generously. It was worth giving them an extra tip.
