Best Casual Restaurants in Lake Highlands

Lauren was amazing, I recommend her for anyone who is going to dine there! Truly a girls girl! Her service is impeccable and she is so sweet! We love her and will go back to see her!!! Starting, the host was so wonderful and sweet and offered champagne at the door, my guest and I were running behind but she accommodated us and gave us great seating. Lauren our server recommended some great mocktails and cocktails to try, the two we picked were well-executed and tasted beautiful. The Food was so good! Lauren explained the menu and themed it as a taste of the world. Highlighting dishes that were different but also helping us pair so there wasn't too much texture or taste separation! We enjoyed the cauliflower and tuna sushi roll to start, the chefs did a beautiful job on the katsu chicken salad and the butter cake was decadent and such a nice finish to our experience. The ambiance was wonderful for pictures. Truly a much-elevated version of Moxies in Oak Lawn, Dallas.

Today at Il Bracco was fabulous! Four friends enjoying a shared lunch. We had 2 appetizers (now my 2 most favorite) facaccia with whipped ricotta and the meatballs are both stand outs! Ancient Grain salad and the chopped salad are at the top of the salads list. And we had the mushroom pasta which is excellent. We came around 2:30 for a late lunch , very relaxed. Noise level was much better than when you go on a crowded weekend night. But always go. One of my friends thinks it’s better than Lucia’s, that speaks accolades to me. Great place to dine , great location!

Enjoyed the dinner. Was able to accomplish work goals. Will go back again.

Music too loud, and prices a bit high, but otherwise near perfect.

Steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Also loved the burrata, Caesar salad, mac & cheese, and creamed corn. Espresso martini was perfect. Raspberry martini has a smoke bubble on top - so fun. Highly recommended!
