Sal grew up in a small town in Sicily, where he spent years helping his mother in the kitchen. In the 1960’s he began his American journey, working under a chef on Long Island, where, according to Sal, he learned a few tricks. Sal would soon carry his old country Italian tradition, mixed with some New York flare, to Middle Tennessee. By this time, he had Italian food and classic New York style pizza down to an art. Sal was an authentic, never compromising on quality, freshness, or passion. Here at Sal’s we are carrying on his legacy in everything from our made daily dough, to our homemade sauces. It’s a fun place to go when I want to take my mom someplace fancy. It’s quite pricey. For a pizza and appetizer and a chefs board with mimosas for three of us was $180. Quite pricey.

Great sushi, great experience! We went for lunch and sat at the sushi bar. Our server was very attentive and helpful. I had a spicy jalapeño roll which had just enough fire, it was fresh and delicious!

We had a great time celebrating three birthdays today at Connor’s. Our waitress was wonderful. Our favorite place for a get together with friends. Love the lunch menu selection and pricing.

As usual an enjoyable dinner. Hunter was a great waiter. Most all food was good as usual (Chang’s Spicy Chicken, fried rice with shrimp-a little too oily-spring rolls) The recipe for egg drop soup has been changed I believe. Use to be thicker (perhaps with egg yolk added?) and had little pieces of pork and green onions in it. Last three visits has been clear broth and egg white—pretty tasteless. Use to love it. Not anymore.
