The newest addition to the Restaurant Collection at SIMON Roosevelt Field mall, Nomiya — which translates to ‘saloon’ — stands as the area’s first izakaya. What a great time and new experience to have dinner in the igloo bubble. It was fun and warm while only 30 degrees out the servers were always checking in on is and it was nice not to have all the noise of the other diners yet the music in background was the perfect level. You have your own heaters to make it as warm as you like. The calamari was perfectly done light and crispy and the cappalinni cakes are a must try. Everyone was very hapy with their choice of entree. Eggplant rollitini, spaghetti carbonara, the chicken francese. All delicious! Thank you for a wonderful time

Went for Thanksgiving dinner. My server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent. Drinks were a bit pricy and there was a draft making it chilly in there but overall a good meal and experience. I plan to visit again in the future.
