What started out as a butcher shop concept, has evolved and changed over the years to become a full-service restaurant, which was solidified with the restaurant's move to a larger space in 2022. At Bavette, the consumer will enjoy complete transparency of its food moving from farm to plate. We were very pleased with our experience and food at Coopershawk on Thanksgiving. We were seated right on time for a 3 PM reservation. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. The food was absolutely wonderful. As we had had our family Thanksgiving the week before we opted for the mahi-mahi and the tenderloin medallions. The crab shrimp lobster bisque was excellent. Couldn't have had a nicer time on Thanksgiving.

We have always had excellent meals at Joey Gerard's. However, yesterday (11/26) the steak was a little overcooked and the lamb chops were a little undercooked. Both were hard to cut. Usually, the mashed potatoes are creamy and flavorful. Yesterday they were a bit dry and quite bland. The spinach was good but we couldn't taste any glaze on the "glazed" carrots. We did not complain, however, the waitress mentioned that the chef was "off today". Never got a free birthday dessert either.
