Cocktails sensational, and the food was unbelievably good,I honestly think that the beetroot was the best thing I’ve ever eaten. I don’t live anywhere near to this restaurant but feel like I would go out of my way to go back again.More infoLittle MerciesPrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Crouch End•4.9

- KKatharinaLondon •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a an absolutely lovely evening, and the food was amazing. We came for dinner and to see the live music, "The Boneshakers", which both were an absolute treat. The Lady greeting us when we arrived was outstanding in her service, super friendly and very attentive, even got a blanket for the dogs to sit on. The only small minus point was the temperature, we felt a bit chilly, especially in the dining room, but its nothing that would keep us from not returning!More infoThe Good ReaderPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Crouch End•4.4

We got 5 burgers but at the end we ordered 3 more with extra cheese and at the end they were even better. My friend was looking for bacon but for me the crunchiness of meat was enough. Very good balance of flavours. I tried many burgers but probably this is the best in London. I was a bit sad realising they removed the green salad with walnuts from the menu cuz it was really good but I understand can be because the seasonal changes etc. Another must to try are the potatoes with aioli. We also got other dishes but I would say these 2 were the best. The pub was full but the service was fast. The kitchen is not big but they are very organised. Same with table service, we had some requests and the blonde girl who served us was really nice and patient haha I forgot to asked her name for the mention Overall a great experience! Thank you guys!More infoThe PlimsollPrice: Expensive• Pub• Highbury•4.8
- KKathleenSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOutstanding food, service, ambiance. Classic British food, nose to tail, simply but exquisitely prepared. We started with olives and roasted bone marrow, a favourite we order whenever possible, and this was the best we’ve ever had. Accompanying parsley salad was flavourful crunchy and fresh, perfect accompaniment along sourdough toast. For mains we shared grey mullet, grilled shorthorn, white asparagus, green salad and a sublime braised mutton. Everything was superb and we were quite full but couldn’t resist dessert. Both the lemon posset and date loaf with butterscotch sauce were incredible and we ate every last bit. Service was low key excellent and very helpful as we ordered wine by the glass having over imbibed over the weekend and server recommendations were perfect.More infoSt. JOHN SmithfieldPrice: Very Expensive• British• Farringdon•4.8
