Best Casual Restaurants in St. James's

We went to a “Beef Wellington Masterclass” with Roberto for my husbands birthday. We spent a couple of hours with Roberto learning how to make the beef wellington and then we had a delicious 3 course lunch including eating our own beef wellington. Roberto was lovely - warm and friendly and knowledgeable. He made us feel very special. The whole experience was really great and we’d love to go back another time for lunch or dinner with friends or family. Thank you Heddon Street kitchen for such a wonderful experience!

Staff were very helpful in guiding us through the tapas menu. Asked about timing of foods and the schedule of preparation was just what we wanted. Food was hot, delicious and plentiful.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Claro, in one of the most picturesque areas of London, and I couldn't resist returning for a second time. The restaurant is beautifully situated among the city's finest architecture, and during this festive season, it’s even more enchanting with the twinkling Christmas lights adorning the surroundings. The menu is a fantastic showcase of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours, featuring a variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. I highly recommend trying the hispi cabbage; it was simply outstanding! The flavours were vibrant and well-balanced, making it a standout dish that I couldn't stop raving about. I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return for a third time!
