Best Casual Restaurants in Omaha

When we first came in we were greeted and invited to wait and look at the in restaurant garden, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was wonderful. Will be telling friends about this place and dreaming of the elk bolognese!!

First time we visited J Gilbert’s. Food was so good. We ordered off the PreFix menu. The amount of food was great for the value. The ambience was warm and comfortable. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We will be back!!

We really enjoyed it! It was my first time there. Their kids meals were better than most! They each came with a general side (fries, veggie options) but then they both came with Yogurt, cutie orange and fruit snacks. The kids loved it! We go to so many places that just do generic tenders and fries so anything beyond that is always great. We both loved the house margs and our meals were delish. My husband’s only complaint was the Shrimp pasta only had 6 shrimp but they were fairly good size. We will be back!

Glad to visit this old friend! The food was fantastic--fish n' chips, pork schnitzel, and the adult mac n' cheese all terrific. Food came out fast. Cocktails were great. And we just love the old school place.

The service and food were phenomenal last night. We all ordered Specials. Our table was next to the kitchen which was very hot. Overall terrific experience.
