Best Casual Restaurants in New Bedford

Sophie did a great job of taking care of us. Little things like checking on us, as the sushi was coming out slowly. The food was great. My son and his girlfriend had the sushi (BOGO on Mondays) they really enjoyed it. My wife had the the Tuna appetizer, great. I had the Piggy FRied Rice. Very good, but so much food. I took some home. Greeat beer, great ambiance. I recommend the place highly!

The waitress was more interested in chatting around the bar, seating at the high chairs or talking in the kitchen. She was not very attentive. The service was very slow and as we had other drinks she never cleaned the old glasses from the table. Besides that the restaurant was not busy at all. It looks like there was no manager on duty, or if there was one he was not doing his job also. About the food everything was great except the old bread that was served with the Mozambique mussels.

Delicious and lively! We keep returning to this polished neighborhood option.

This has quickly become one of our favorites! It’s adorable, focused on local businesses, has great choices from sit down dinner to grab and go. Service is fantastic and everyone is so friendly. Prices are great and food is delicious.
