I had the silver dollar pancakes with a side of bacon and oh my— every mouthful a pure maple drenched delight. My husband and grandson ordered pigs in a blanket —holy moly!! We’re talkin a huge pancake log roll filled with 3 large pork sausages - big enough to feed 3 adults yet my grandson ate the whole thing!(eye roll). My husband brought a third home for tomorrow. Daughter had brisket hash which came with seasoned potatoes _ she loved it but also took home leftovers because the portions are so large. She also had a pickle bloody mary— the pickle was the size of a toddler’s foot! The eldest grandson decided to try the french toast logs which could easily have been used to build a log cabin!!! His girlfriend wanted the squash blossom entree which came with eggs smothered in a cheese sauce, the fried blossom plus zucchini. Let’s just say no one left hungry.More infoGreat Maple San DiegoPrice: Moderate• American• Hillcrest•4.8
- SSteveVIPSan Diego •35 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was delicious. We had the meat lovers pizza and it was so flavorful. The service was really good too. The noise level was a little high because there was a DJ and a lot of kids with their family. It’s an excellent place for families and we really enjoyed itMore infoGravity Heights Mission ValleyPrice: Moderate• American• Mission Valley•4.7

Having grown up in New Orleans, I can say that Madison‘s jambalaya is some of the best around! Also loved the live jazz, friendly staff, and good vibe of the place!More infoMadisonPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• University Heights•4.5
