The staff was immaculate. Our greeter Miriam was well prepared and the server Michael was very engaging and attentive. Nice touch with the excellent guitar player who was a master of every genre. And the food was scrumptious. You made me look like I knew how to pick a restaurant to my family visiting from New Zealand. Thanks for everything.

Parking was comped with validation. Food was great. Service was great. Would definitely go back.

As someone who had their mother and grandmother preparing pasta dishes together in the kitchen, somehow creating a home-cooked yet refined cuisine, Angelino Trattoria accomplishes the same. Countless times from New York, Boston and then to Los Angeles I have been disappointed when presented with dry pasta and common sauces. Here the pastas are made in house. The sauces are fresh and vibrant. The ravioli dish that I sampled-with portobello mushroom and pesto could not be improved. The pesto was silky, not overtly garlicky that read of fresh basil and the earthiness of Italy’s finest olive oil. I believe that I have found my go-to Italian eatery in Angelino Trattoria; I am looking forward to my next visit to try more items.

We had a great time here for my boyfriend’s birthday on a Wednesday night! They didn’t provide anything special, but that’s ok. We didn’t expect anything special. Seemed like it was comedy night so it started getting louder as the night went on but overall was a good experience. We ordered the burger, shrimp basket, and mac&cheese. Surprisingly yummy! Weed is good and it’s cool that you can smoke openly. The only downside is if you’re downwind of someone also smoking and you get hit in the face with someone else’s smoke, but that’s expected. Our waiter was friendly and not overbearing, answered our questions and came around enough to make us not feel neglected. I can imagine it getting a bit more difficult to get your food in a timely manner or waiving down your waiter if it’s super busy. Other than that, highly recommend for a fun night out especially on a week night to avoid crowds!
