Best Casual Restaurants in Woodstock

Everything was great but our server was impersonal and less than trained/experienced for that level of fine dining. There was no spirit about the menu, no recommendations, and no interest in our story. It was a business dinner, with the VP, two long term employees and their wives. Very coffee shop like service. We were pushed to order, was asked a few times and it got annoying. He was shocked that we wanted a second bottle of wine. Somewhat awkward. He was never rude, just seemed bored. With drinks in the bar included, we spent about $700.

Great service. I struggle with a restaurant who specialized in steak who had yet to cook a steak to the right temperature. Rare coming out medium well. They fixed it but it just seems odd to be that off almost every time we go. Sides were great. Kids option was huge. Almost a sea bass were very good as well but salmon was heavily seasoned down the center and nowhere else.

We came for a birthday lunch and it was excellent. Highly recommend the chicken schnitzel for the entree and the grit fritters for an appetizer. Service was very good. It can get loud if you go for a weekend night out, but it’s a great local East Cobb spot.

Everything was prepared to perfection. The shrimp and grits were delicious.

Was looking for a place in downtown for a quick dinner before a show and chose this because they took reservations. While we didn’t need one we found this place to be perfect for what we wanted. We were seated immediately and our waitress did a wonderful job. I had the pork carnita tacos which were awesome and my husband had a burger which he said was delicious. I would definitely recommend for a nice meal and drinks.
