Yeah my partner, and I often talk about the seasonings, but in this case, it was so much more it was the subtle layers or the blending together like a ballet of flavors, components, and cooking methods. We weren’t sure if it would be as good as all the hype, but it is the room is very small and it’s hard not to be somewhere in the room where it’s tight. But the service which was connected, efficient and caring was impressive. We signed up for the New Year’s Eve dinner on the spot. So glad to have these people who own and run this restaurant in such a community and caring manner close by and a neighborhood which is generally overlooked for restaurants of any quality. - JJoanne LGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe wee seated in a small room outside the kitchen. The main dining room was empty so it was a slow night. We were right where a heat register was located and my friend wondered why it was so hot and didn't discover until dinner was over that the register was right where she was seated. Anyway, food (hanger steak and seafood stew) was excellent, waitress was really nice , professional, knowledgeable and not overly "chatty" as is too often the case these days when dining out. This was our second time there and will certainly be going back!More infoStone's Public HousePrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Ashland•4.5

From the time we arrived and walked into the awesome ambiance to our server Edward (who provided great service with a smile) to the waitresses that brought out our decadent and delicious food! Like EVERYTHING was so tasty! The drinks were not only beautiful, but super delish! Thank you for the experience! We will be back!More infoButtermilk & BourbonPrice: Moderate• Southern• Back Bay•4.5
