Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Grand Ave

We live in Duluth and frequently travel from the MSP airport. Hazelwood is our favorite post-flight weekend brunch location. The food, drinks, and serv9ce are consistently excellent. Keep up the great work. P.S. It's always a positive sign of a well-run restaurant when you see management pitching in alongside the hosts and servers.

Amazing bloody mary and mimosa bar, almost a meal in themselves! We were celebrating a birthday, which got us a free photo booth token and dessert to share. I didn't realize how big this place is! We were seated in the quieter dining side, but the live music playing in the other area wasn't too loud. Looks like a nice happy hour, too, so we'll have to return soon for that!

Food is always consistent. The booth though was very tight for 6 people. Table was overwhelmed with plates, glasses, coffee cups. The table we had really would have been better for 4. Need round tables for 6. That is my ONLY complaint. Wasn’t happy when hostess sat us there, even with reservations we had made. Thank you

Didn't realize that this is the hotel bar. However, after finding some easy on-street parking, our group welcomed a quiet place to gather and share some interesting non-overpriced food and non-stingy drinks before seeing a show at the Ordway. Service was perfect.

Most lobby restaurants are not the greatest experience. The Milwaukee, however, was a pleasant surprise. From a gracious hostess to a joyful waitress, to a very, very good meal for the four of us. The only food negative was a relatively bland dressing on the Caesar salad. T”My pappardelle was outstanding and the others felt the risotto, burger and salmon were very fine.
