- SSarahanneNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoArrived at Del Frisco Double Eagle at 4:50 for a 5:15 pm Christmas Day reservation. Checked in with hostess and let her know we were going to be a party of 5, not 6 as originally booked. "No problem, your table will be just a moment" At 5:15 I get a text that my table is ready. When I approach the hostess, she states "you booked Del Frisco Grille, not here" I questioned how she checked us in and let us stand around for 25 min. She stated, "oh well". When I inquire where Del Frisco Grille is I was told a couple of blocks away. I asked for address or directions but was told to "use my phone, it's not difficult." Fortunately, as we were walking to the Grille the hostess called to see if we were on the way. I explained what happened and she assured me that my table would be held while we bobbed and weaved through the crowds on the street. Once there it was a lovely evening. Food and service were great. Perhaps the hostesses at Double Eagle could try to be a little more patient, helpful and kinder like the girls over at The Grille.More infoDel Frisco's Grille - NYCPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Rockefeller Center•4.3

Service could’ve been a bit better, but I also understand that it was the holidays and they were short staffed. We were originally sat in an igloo in the center and asked to move to one on the outer edge so we had a good view and they kindly accommodated that. Came with a bottle of Vueve. We ordered the Smores which were cute added touch to the experience.More infoSomewhere Nowhere NYCPrice: Very Expensive• Lounge• Chelsea•4.3
