Therfore the staff were a bit swamped and the place was a tad louder than it normally would be, but the staff were doing terrific with the crowd they had and the noise was still good compared to what it could be. As hard as it is for me to say this, hands down better than any place around the Hampton Roads area - yes better than that place, and yes that place too. The best. Every course was a standout, well prepared, perfectly seasoned, served with care, and flavor authentic as it comes. I lived in Italy for 7 years and this is the first place that truly took me back. Small place so reservations are needed but it will not disappoint. My take best takeaway, our server was so confident in our meal she said she would pay for it if it was not the best.
